In the book of Nehemiah, we find the story of a man of God who is so distraught about the status of his home city that he 'wept, mourned, fasted and prayed' (see: Nehemiah 1:4). God evidently heard his prayer and saw his humility before God's face, as Nehemiah was given the provision to return to his city and rebuild the walls thereof.

In I Timothy 1:10, we find an interesting word: "menstealers." This word is the Greek word, "andrapodistes." This word means, "enslaver." Enslaver carries with it the notion of 'bringing a man to his feet,' and 'kidnapping.'
The Word of God indicates that an "enslaver" is under the judgment of "the law" (vs. 9).
